sometimes you have to be grateful for other people. i want to echo the sentiments of steve jobs, who said in one of his internal emails that

“i love and admire my species, living and dead, and am totally dependent on them for my life and well being.”

truly, we stand on the shoulders of giants. but today im thankful for a man who will never know how grateful i am. there was a semi-automatic truck going full speed behind me, i saw it coming. and instead of rear ending me the truck pulled into the side and off the road, probably saving my life. what a moment of kindness from that man.
