charlie kirk and the state of america

charlie kirk was shot during a political event at utah valley university today. i never agreed with the guy but man, what is going on with our country?

the whole point of america is that we’re better than this, that we can engage in good faith discussion with the other side and know that even if we hold views contradictory to our peers, that we can expect at least the dignity of life and body.

how sad is it that this is no longer a guarantee in our country?
