not understanding people
theres something im missing about the way people work. for example, why is it that sometimes pretty girls end up with pretty average looking guys. i guess what im saying is that there’s something innately human about a lot of decisions that im missing. as another example, suppose you have a child in the womb, early stages of development. and the doctor tells you the child is going to be parapelegic and need support for its entire life. why keep it? why effectively gurantee that the rest of your life is objecively worse? and why make someone else (the child) suffer?
i find that im often too rational and stoic about what should be emotional moments.
im going to go talk to chatgpt about this.
