being stuck in a loop
im having a bit of an issue right now. i spent about an hour today at a coffee shop trying to figure out how to even begin development for ios. the hardest part is starting, and i really do want to start, but im finding it very challenging to start.
apple has a very opinionated framework. im trying to build something that is technically complicated. not only do i have to learn how to write the kernel level software, i also have to learn how apple likes to make their ui (swift ui), how they set up their development environment, how you publish an app, how to get entitlements, and a whole host of things i probably can’t think of right now. on top of all that, the llm’s hullucinate how to solve the problems with this because documentation is poor, so i can’t iteratively build on this system. i could be making a massive sink hole for myself. ugh, i need to figure this out. i think i might just make an ios app that has no interaction but when you install it it blocks youtube.
