side projects

if you want to get anywhere with your side projects, you have to make them your primary focus outside of work. if i dont start living and breathing this side project of mine, ill never get anywhere.

i love programming, i really do. but in my current position, im beinnging to dislike it more and more. the system im working on is archaic and just not fun to work on. i guess that’s what im being paid for, right? the fact that what i do is hard and thankless work.

again, very very grateful that i get to do what i do. but i want to work on things that make a real impact on people, i want to work on things that make me excited. this pays the bills, sure, but thats not enough for me.

ugh, i need to figure this out. get out the trap im in.
