risks worth taking

how can you know if a risk is worth taking? especially if you’re risk averse like me.

here’s the dilemma. ali abdaal is having a 1k challenge course. he’ll show you how to make 1k online in 6 weeks. seeing as i have never made any money online, that is quite alluring. there’s also this executive tier where you get coaching that is 5k. the base tier is 1k with a tier above that at 1.6k.

as im working on finite, i think the ideal audience is people like ali abdaal and people who follow him. i was thinking about ways of getting him to engage with me, and what better way to get an endorsement than him? if he’s invested in making sure my product succceeds (via his coaching) then what better way than this? 5k is pretty steep, its a good amount of the money i was going to use to pay off the car. but if this pays off, 5k will be nothing compared to what i can make.

a couple hours later: i emailed him. i wonder what he’ll say. im hoping something can come of this.
