vibe coding (revisited)

so you know that personal finance app that i tried to vibe code a couple months ago? dude i just made a pretty good looking website through vibe coding and i have actually 0 idea how any of it works. where is the world even headed? programmers in the future are going to be so incompetent.

thank god i actually love this. what sucks is that the skill i love and have such a passion for has such a low barrier to entry now. the thing is though you just can’t be good at this unless you really love it. i wonder how many people would have made it through the nc state computer science program if chat gpt had not existed.
