still still not getting the point

today, i got home from the ymca and as i was about to turn on the tv and put something on while i ate dinner— i remembered what i wrote yesterday. i would make an active effort today to talk to my dad. and so i went up stairs, checked to see if he was awake. he was.

i went down prepared dinner (spent time talking to my mom so that’s a bonus) and then i came back up to talk to my dad. we chatted for almost an hour i would say.

im thankful for that hour.

but then i hopped in the shower and spent the last hour on tiktok in the shower. so wins and losses man, wins and losses.

tomorrow we’ll be more deliberate about this, because im still not really getting the point.
